Why we open the gates
Marybank has been a family garden since 1853. We don't run tours or sell tickets ourselves — once every two years, through Open Gardens SA, we simply open up. No wedding, no styling, no event. Just the garden, as it's grown.
SELF-GUIDED
Wander at your own pace
Follow the path from the Barn, past the historic homestead, along the rose walk to the far garden, up to the vineyard, along the older, wilder olive border. Then past the flower beds to the kitchen garden back to the Barn. Tea’s on. So is a glass of our own Shiraz or Rosé.
